A senior leadership programme is only worth running if the company feels it six months later. We design closed programmes around the leadership team's actual decision agenda, in small cohorts, with the kind of senior facilitator the room respects.
When clients come to us
After a board reshuffle has changed the composition of the leadership team. When a generational handover is approaching and the next layer needs to be readied. When a CEO wants the executive team to challenge each other more rigorously without making it personal. Often when a strategic shift — international expansion, a new business line, a transformation — needs the leadership team to think differently together.
How we work
A senior partner scopes the programme with the sponsor — usually the CEO, chair or CHRO — using the firm's actual strategic agenda as the teaching material. Sessions are small, closed and practitioner-led. We avoid slide-led delivery and generic case studies. Every session ends with a short artefact the leadership team carries back into the business.
What we deliver
- Tailored curriculum built on the firm's agenda
- Closed-door sessions, in person or hybrid
- Pre-reading and preparation pack per session
- Practitioner-led discussion and structured exercises
- Post-session artefact for board or executive use
- Programme review with the sponsor at completion
Typical engagement
Programmes typically run four to eight sessions over two to four months. On our side, a senior partner facilitates with a supporting advisor. On the client side, the sponsor is the CEO, chair or CHRO. Cohorts are usually six to twelve participants, by invitation only.
Why CGLA
The partner who designs the programme is the one who facilitates the room. We do not licence content to trainers. Our facilitators have run businesses and sat on boards, which is what the senior cohort respects. Programmes run in English, Turkish or Estonian as required.
